by Shira Oler
"The Kiwanis Club of Bethesda has been working for more than five years toward a goal of creating a Miracle League for disabled children in Montgomery County," said Jim Leder, Club President. The dream is finally becoming a reality with the creation of a Miracle League field in Germantown, Maryland. Lerner Family Foundation, the Bethesda Club will see kids playing on the field in July. An announcement of the specific date is coming soon and all clubs are encouraged to attend. National's ball players will even be there to kick off this event! ...more
