Brad Young, right, President of the Frederick County Board of Education, was a recent speaker at the Frederick Kiwanis Club. He spoke about the challenges of this year's school education budget that faces Frederick County. Standing with Mr Young is Kiwanian Greg Hutton. The Kiwanis Clulb of Frederick meets every Tuesday at Homewood at Crumland Farms on Willow Road. The main focus of the club is "Young Children, Priority One". Dr. Syed Haque, MD was a recent speaker at the Frederick Kiwanis Club. He spoke about the conflicts that are occurring in the Middle East and the need to provide for education to the people in these countries. Dr Haque also writes an editorial column that appears monthly in the Frederick News Post. Kiwanian Greg Hutton is with the speaker.

Joe Volz, right, spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Frederick recently. Mr. Volz spoke about the differences in Charter Government and County Commissioners and how Frederick County is exploring the possibilities of Charter Government with the formation of a Charter Writing Committee.
