Reisterstown
Club and Pres. Ed Guy Distinguished for 2006-07
by Steve Jenkins
On November 18, 2008 the
Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown was awarded the Distinguished
Club Award for 2006-07. Governor Elect Don Dudey presented
the award to Ed Guy, who was the club President for
those years. The Distinguished Club Award is given
to a Kiwanis Club which has met services and leadership
programs requirements set by Kiwanis International.
These include fulfillment of its responsibilities to
Service Leadership Program clubs (K-Kids, Builders
Club, Key Club, Circle K, Aktion Club, or Kiwanis Junior),
which includes providing club leadership education
to club officers and the Kiwanis club participates
in a Kiwanis-branded service project, such as Young
Children: Priority One, Read Around the World, Bring
Up Grades, Terrific Kids, Key Leader. Pictured is Governor Elect Don Dudey with Ed Guy.
