Dover Club 75th Anniversary Banquet

(Above) Dover Kiwanis Club member Ray Montsch (left) presents a George Hixon fellow medal to Club member Charles Marks (right) at the Club's 75th anniversary banquet on January 13, 2010. Marks has been a member since 1988 and recently served as the Capital District Kiwanis Convention Chairman, which was held in Dover for the first time ever last August (2009). He and four members of his family (also Kiwanians) participate in all fundraising events and service activities. A Hixon fellow is the highest award a Kiwanis Club can bestow upon a member.

Kujala has been a member since 2001 and recently completed a two-year term as Division 11 Lieutenant Governor for the Kiwanis Capital District. He is editor of the Club's monthly newsletter, secures weekly program speakers, and organizes monthly service projects. A Hixon fellow is the highest award a Kiwanis CLub can bestow upon a member.
